Parking at ISCT
Please can any families needing access stickers for their cars pop into our reception areas next week to collect these to ensure that our security team can easily identify which vehicles belong to members of our community. For those parking outside in the dust bowl, please take extra caution as you maneuver between cars and pedestrians to ensure the safety of others.
Staff Update
This term we welcome Ms Anna Mason (HS French), Mr Niven Balraj (HS Geography) and Mr Ryan Swartz (Y5 Teacher). We have also welcomed out part-time nurse, Sister Wilma, who will be based at Woodland Heights from 10:00 – 14:00 every day. We are also pleased to share with you the wonderful news that Ms Leandi Jansen van Vuren and her partner welcomed a beautiful baby girl into their family in December.
Class Representatives
At ISCT we appreciate our class reps so much as they help build a sense of community among parents and help to provide a link between parents, the class teacher and other school bodies. Parents will be invited to take on this role at the various parent sessions noted above, so for those interested in this, here is a link to a description of the role. On Friday, January 23rd, from 08:00 – 08:30 at Woodland Heights, we will be holding a meeting with all class reps, both new and returning, and the PTA leadership team to discuss the role and answer any questions.
