Congratulations to Mia and Alexis, both in Year 6, for representing South Africa at the Stars of the Universe Online International Competition. Mia received Gold for comedic monologue and Alexis received Silver for dramatic monologue. Mia has also been selected to compete in the international competition in Spain in June. At the annual end of year show show jumping event at Jesse’s stable, Lane, Jesse in Year 1 was awarded three rosettes. Two for completing a clear round and one for demonstrating resilience throughout the year of riding.

Struben House Superheroes of the week
Who are Super heroes of the week? Every Friday in assembly the children who have impressed their teachers in their classes throughout the week with their effort, creativity, team work, kindness etc. receive a special celebration certificate in front of the whole school during our assembly. It is something that we look forward to each week and enjoy celebrating our children’s achievements.

In Early Years our superheroes of the week are Ignatius Stone, Niamh Vasey and Hannah Swart.
In Key Stage 1 the superheroes of the week are Bailey Swartz, Ava Mittal Marshal, Emily Ferguson, Kimberly Ngola, Amelia Douglas, Ahaan Govan, and Lucy Matheson.
