It has been a fantastic week of learning, leadership, and teamwork in KS2. Our Year 6 students thoroughly enjoyed putting their leadership skills to the test last Friday when Lead4Life visited the school and we are looking forward to seeing them step into their leadership roles later this term. Our ECAs are off to a strong start, and we are very proud of our Year 3 and 4 cricketers, who played their first match of the season yesterday and secured a win. Go Hawks!

Digital Citizenship Week:

This week was Digital Citizenship Week, and the KS2 students participated in meaningful discussions and activities about being responsible, respectful and safe online.

In light of Digital Citizenship Week, we encourage parents and guardians to continue these important conversations at home and remain vigilant if your child has access to internet-enabled devices at home.

Tomorrow, the KS2 students are invited to celebrate their learning during Digital Cirtizenship Week by wearing a fun accessory in their year group’s colour. This can include hairbands, bracelets, scarves, earrings, hats, socks, or other fun items.

Please take note of the colours below. This has been amended from last week’s newsletter:

  • Year 3: Green accessories
  • Year 4: Blue accessories
  • Year 5: Yellow or orange accessories
  • Year 6: Red accessories

Upcoming Events:

  • Friday 13th February – KS2 Swimming Gala at Woodland Heights
    • Year 3 & 4: 08:30 start
    • Year 5 & 6: 11:30 start

Parents are welcome to come and cheer on the students, but parental attendance is optional. More details about this event will be shared in next week’s newsletter.

We hope all of our KS2 families have a wonderful Friday and weekend!
