Supporting Homework at Home: Practical Ways Parents Can Help
A review of our demerit records on EdAdmin (LBM record) shows that the most common concern at the high school level is incomplete homework. This is not unusual, particularly as academic demands increase and students are expected to manage their time and workload more independently.
Homework difficulties are not always about effort or attitude. For many students — especially those with ADD or ADHD — homework can be one of the most challenging parts of the school day. The good news is that small, consistent strategies at home can make a significant difference.
